Here is Part 1, Section 4, from the Criminal Code. Please read it and tell me if I am wrong.
Expressions taken from other Acts
(4) Where an offense that is dealt with in this Act relates to a subject that is dealt with in another Act, the words and expressions used in this Act with respect to that offense have, subject to this Act, the meaning assigned to them in that other Act......
In other words, if there is a special ACT created to deal with the subject above and beyond the criminal code..then the words of the Act are supposed to be followed not the words of the criminal code.
No one is supposed to be able to pick and chose if they want to use the criminal code or the specific Act..
This picking and choosing, or self interpretation of our laws being allowed within our legal system is wrong.
If we choose to let those in our legal system manipulate the laws any way they feel to meet their own agendas it will destroy our country and continue to allow criminals to prosper, mostly within our political system which is of course tied directly to the controlling billionaire corporations that run our country..and all of this financed by the general population who is too busy trying to work and pay the bills (to the big corporations of course) to pay attention to what is really going on.

Here is an example of what happens when those in our legal system make up their own interpretation of laws to meet their agendas.
This time it turned one poor fella into a criminal and he was convicted under the motor vehicle act for riding an electric scooter style "bicycle",

Yet Crown attorney Paul Scovil argued that Mr. Mailman was warned not to drive the bike with the motor engaged. Police told him it fit the Criminal Code definition of a motor vehicle.
In the end, Judge Gregory Lenehan confirmed that analysis. "There's no question it's a motor vehicle," the judge said, whether the rider pedals or coasts or whatever, simply because it has a motor capable of being engaged..
This is wrong..there is a motor vehicle act that already classifies the electric scooter style bikes as a bicycle not a motor vehicle..so long as the motor is 500w or less.etc. They are nothing more than a power assisted bicycle that you can turn the power assist on and off with a throttle while riding and they look nicer than a regular bike with their fancy shell covering.
The police, the crown attorney, the judge..do not have the right to just make up their own definition of the vehicle to make someone a criminal because they feel like doing it.
Allowing these people to run the gambit manipulating the country laws and international laws to meet their own agendas, and control or suppress alternative power and energy technologies to prevent self sustainability will be the reason why average people will always live in fear of politicians and live their lives in the stranglehold of big corporations and remain dependent on fossil fuels.

We posted an additional comment that stated...if you want to learn about wind, solar, and alternative power or even buy one of our alternative power sheds to put in your yard, contact us, but ..the comment was deleted on the website...is that suppression again..media control..or did they consider it advertising and bump it....hmmm you be the judge.
